Hello again everyone! Long time since I posted, huh? I promise it’s all for good reason. As some of you may know I moved recently and it has taken up sooo much of my time, but I’m happy to say I’m in my new apartment with most of my boxes unpacked. I’ll be making a new blog post on the new apartment very soon, but for now, I’m coming at ya with my latest Hollar Haul. If you want to read my first review of this site called Hollar click here.
If you follow my Facebook Page you know how much I love this site because I’m constantly sharing the amazing deals with you guys. Hollar is an online discount store where you can score amazing deals on name brand items. You can get basically anything on this site – from maxi pads to cereal. Seriously, just look at the photos guys. 😀
I know it seems like regular stuff you’d purchase at a grocery store but that’s the beauty of this site. You can get the exact same things you’d find at a supermarket chain for discounted prices. Below I listed how much each item I purchased cost me through Hollar. It doesn’t seem like a huge difference with some products but I know I’m saving at least a few dollars each time I purchase through Hollar because there are some great deals I’d miss out on if I shopped somewhere else.
Dustpan and Brush Set – $3.00
Kellogg’s Cereal – Two for $6.00
Bumble Bee Tuna – Three for $3.00
Liquid Hand Soap 16.9 fl oz – $1.75
Virgin Olive Oil – $6.00
Windex 23 fl oz – $3.00
Crest Toothpaste 6.4 oz – $1.75
Aveeno Bar Soap 3.5 oz – $2.00
Vaseline Body Lotion 13.5 oz – $3.00
Always Classic Maxi Pads 9 count – $2.00
Green Apple Shampoo 16.9 oz – $1
Hydrogen Peroxide 16 fl oz – $1.00
Welch’s Fruit Snacks 10 count- $2.00
Skippy Peanut Butter 16.3 oz – $2.25
Garlic Salt Seasoning 11 oz – $3.50
I actually didn’t realize how large the bottle of garlic salt seasoning was until I took it out of the packaging. Is it really boring of me to get that excited about garlic salt? 😀
Since I live two blocks away from a Target I usually do most of my shopping there. I did a quick price check and I saved more than a few dollars by purchasing the exact same items through Hollar. In fact, I saved $21.66 that I would have spent at Target (no offense Target, we’re still tight) by purchasing on Hollar. I’ve also noticed that Hollar runs a lot of sales (think 40% to 50%) so you can get an even better deal if you keep your eyes peeled. I’ve actually had my eyes on this ten piece glass bowl set for $3 for a while now.

Hollar also offers free shipping on orders over $25, but that lowers to $10 if you are placing your first order. I also have a link that gets you $2 off your first purchase if you’re interested in that sort of saving-money thing. 😉
I think some of the best deals you can find on Hollar are the cosmetics and beauty items. You can find $1 Revlon eyeshadow and Essie Nail Polish for $3. I know that Essie Nail polish sells for $9 around me so that sounds like sweet savings to me!
