Hello! My name is Diana. I started this blog in 2015 when I got married to my husband, Danny. Hence the name Diana Met Danny. Clever, huh? This blog originally started as a way to document the start of our marriage and share updates with our family in Colombia. Now it’s a collection of frugal posts, skincare product reviews, and random musings of my life. I love to share things that I believe will be beneficial to my readers, but my blog is also a personal document of my life.
We are just getting started in our journey so why not stay for the ride? I am so excited for the things Danny and I have planned for the future. Now all we have to do is put in the work to get there!
Right now I am finishing up my degree while my husband works OTR for a flatbed carrier. It’s hard being the wife of a trucker, but I sure do love seeing him when he is home! My husband immigrated to the United States in 2014 from Colombia. He’s such a hard worker and generous with others. Most of the time he is driving all over the country in his truck. He performs such an important job, and I’m so proud of him for all that he does.
I aim for at least two new posts each week (mostly successful) but I don’t have set days as to when I post. I spend a lot of time on each blog post to make sure it’s perfect for my readers, and some articles take longer than others to create. That’s why I have an email newsletter to let you guys know when I update the blog.
A little about me…I love learning about web design. I know CSS and HTML but I still consider myself a beginner. I’m a die hard fan of Korean skincare products. I’m currently trying to add more miles to my workout routine. I recently decided I wanted to read more books so I started an online book club. If you’d like to join that Facebook group click here. I’m also active on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat! Warning: I love posting silly pictures of myself on Snapchat just in case you like that sort of thing (username is rosa444).
A note for my readers,
I use affiliate links, referral links, and ads on my website as a way to bring income in from the blog. That being said I do not recommend products or services that I do not believe in or have personally used. I always include a disclaimer in blog posts that include affiliate links. If you’d like to read more about the affiliate programs I use on the blog please click here.
