Trying to fit in only ten things on this list was a complete nightmare. Apparently, there are sooo many things I can’t live without. Besides my family, these are the top ten things I can’t live without.

#1 Sheet masks
My obsession with sheet masks started when I read The Little Book of Skin Care: Korean Beauty Secrets for Healthy, Glowing Skin
by Charlotte Cho. I store my sheet masks in the fridge for a cool and refreshing feeling before I open one up and leave it on my skin.

My latest splurge
#2 Books
Reading in bed is one of my favorite ways to relax. Recently I’ve found a lot of self-help books making their way into my Kindle Reader but I always go back to fiction when I need to get out of my own head. Some of my favorite authors include Philippa Gregory and Kevin Kwan.

You can tell my copies are well loved
#3 Sunscreen
You can probably already tell by now that I love anything Korean skincare. This Missha sunscreen is one of the latest sunscreens I’m trying out and I have to say it’s one of my favs. The only problem I have with this sunscreen is that it smells a bit perfumey but that goes away pretty quickly. I love that this sunscreen soaks in quickly and doesn’t leave a tacky film or white cast behind.
#4 Bubble Tea
I’m so picky about where I get my bubble tea. I currently have two favorite places that I love: Kung Fu Tea in Hoboken and Babo in Jersey City. I always get Chai or Iced Coffee. So does my mom!

Babo, Jersey City
#5 My Glasses

My friend and I in New York City
This certainly isn’t my favorite thing to include on my list, but if we are going to take this list literally, well I couldn’t live without my glasses. I’m pretty nearsighted. Like so nearsighted I need them to work on the computer.
#6 Amazon Prime Membership
My professor mentioned the other day in class how we are all kings and queens thanks to Amazon Prime. It’s true! I love that I can place an order for virtually anything and have it arrive at my doorstep in two days. Even better, I only pay $50 a year for Prime because I’m a student! I hardly ever order from other sites because no other company tops Amazon’s customer service. If I ever have any problem with a product, returning it and getting a full refund is as easy as counting to three.
#7 The Gym
I love the gym I go to. It makes exercising so easy and motivates me to get out of the house and be active. I live in a big city area so it’s not easy (or safe) to go out for a run. Like I mentioned in my last post, I love that I can go from cardio to weight lifting in a matter of seconds.
#8 Argan Oil
I received this product in my FabFitFun Editor’s box about a month ago. This is such an awesome serum and helps my strands stay smooth and shiny. Other than a heat protectant this is the only product I use on my hair. My hair is always working against me so changing anything about my hair care routine is a big deal. If you’d like to read more about FabFitFun I wrote a post about it here.
#9 The Office (Tv Show)
As I’m writing this I have The Office playing in the background. I love watching The Office so much it’s hard for me to move on to any other TV shows. Tried watching the Crown on Netflix, but I went back to The Office after just a few episodes. There’s just something about that show that I love so much! Totally one of my guilty pleasures.
#10 Empanadas
It was really hard to choose between empanadas and arepas for the last item on this list. I really love me a good arepa but it’s hard to find a good one around here. Photographed above are baked empanadas from Empanadas Café on Washington Street in Hoboken, NJ. Bomb AF. At this little café there are so many different varieties to choose from: vegetables, chorizo, mushroom and cheese, onion and cheese, Cuban style…is your mouth watering already?
That’s it for my list of the top ten things I can’t live without! What are some of the things you can’t live without? Let me know in the comments below!
Excellent list. I think we overlap at least 6. I am intrigued by your sheet masks.
i can relate to choosing between arepas and empanadas – they are so good!
I know right! Thank you for your comment.
I’m 100% with you on Amazon Prime!!! I don’t remember life before it LOL
I’ve never had bubble tea…if I were to try it which flavor do you recommend?
Amazon Prime is a lifesaver! I love coffee or chai for my bubble tea. I don’t like fruity flavors too much!
Hey Diana! I really enjoyed reading this. I also love me some bubble tea! I haven’t had it in forever but now I’m craving it. I also love binge watching The Office! That and The Big Bang Theory are my two favorite shows to have on in the background while I’m doing stuff around the house.
It’s just the best show ever! I can’t watch the later seasons without Michael, absolutely hated Robert California! But still a great show. Thanks for your comment, Leah!
Ugh I know right! I get depressed every time I get to that part. It just wasn’t the same after that!
Nice little list. I love how Amazon is taking over our lives! made the top ten!! Hahaha
